Koh Phangan is located in The Gulf of Thailand. It is close to Koh Tao and Koh Samui and also offers easy access from Chumphon. Most travelers either come via boat from Koh Tao and Koh Samui or via overnight transfer from Bangkok via Chumphon. Coming from The South of Thailand there are transfers from Surat Thani, but they are a bit longer than from Chumphon, so experienced travelers prefer going little bit further to Chumphon and then taking the boat from there.

“Koh Ngai Mayalay Resort”, is located on the same beach as Thapwarin Resort but on the other end. There are eight bungalows; four with air-conditioned and the others with fan, a big beach restaurant and bar named MAYALAY, and a tour desk.
